Our favorite quiet spot in the cottage is the comfortably furnished and very spacious sun room. No one can resist it when the windows are open and warm summer breezes are in evidence. Relax on the sofa and chairs; dine or play cards at the table. Maybe you will even have the energy for the ever popular communal cottage jigsaw puzzle. This sunroom also has a propane stove which can take the chill off during those early morning coffees or late evening cocktails. |

The spacious and tastefully decorated master bedroom includes a queen size bed, a delightful sitting area facing the lake and a television with satellite dish for your viewing and listening pleasure |

There are 2 additional bedrooms at the cottage with a queen size in one
and a double bottom single top futon in the other.
If needed there is also a queen size sofa bed in the sunroom. There is also a charming bunkie, prized by kids (not to mention their privacy loving parents) to sleep 4 more on a set of double size bunks. There are 2 modern, beautifully appointed bathrooms: on the first floor with shower and on the ground floor with bath and washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. |

It's beautiful inside but with this beautiful lake only feet away, you will soon be tempted onto the comfortable lawn chairs which dot the property. They are light so you can select your own favorite spot among the many great views of 12 Mile Lake. The level lot is perfect for lawn games. All heated up? Then cool down with a swim in the beautiful sandy bottomed lake, while the kids lounge on the large dock or enjoy the canoe and row boat. Spend quiet evenings staring at the flames in the fire pit roasting those marshmallows. Plenty of wood is provided. If your muscles are aching after a long day of boating, water skiing and swimming, relax in the hot tub and wait for those aches and pains to melt away as you lounge in the warmth of the crystal clear water jets. There is a marina nearby for all your boating needs and if your fishing is a success, cook it up on the gas BBQ for a real outdoor taste. The attractions of Minden and Haliburton Villages are all close by, but this cottage will always welcome you back to the sound of tranquility - you might hear nothing louder than the call of the loons and see nothing faster moving than the early morning deer. |
