The ever present lake is just through the French Doors, while 8 of you sit in comfort to enjoy your cuisine. For more active days, snack at the marble kitchen island. For casual or extra dining space, 6 can enjoy eating in the beautiful sun room. |

Our favorite quiet spot in the cottage is the comfortably furnished and very spacious sun room. No one can resist it when the winter winds are in evidence and you are curled up in front of the propane stove. Relax on the sofa and chairs; dine or play cards at the table. Maybe you will even have the energy for the ever popular communal cottage jigsaw puzzle. |

The spacious and tastefully decorated master bedroom includes a queen size bed, a delightful sitting area facing the lake and a television with satellite dish for your viewing and listening pleasure. |

There are 3 additional bedrooms at the cottage with a queen size in one and a set of twin size beds in another and a set of double/single bunks in the fourth. If needed there is also a queen size sofa bed in the sunroom. There are 2 modern, beautifully appointed bathrooms: on the first floor with shower and on the ground floor with bath and washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. |

It's beautiful inside but with crystal clear water only feet away, you will soon be tempted onto the brand new hot tub to soothe those tired muscles from all day on the trails and hills. Spend quiet evenings staring at the flames in the fire pit roasting those marshmallows. Plenty of wood is provided. There is a marina nearby for all your snowmobile needs. If cross country skiing, downhill or snowboarding is your game, x-country trails and Sir Sam's Ski Area are an easy 20 minute drive from the cottage. If your ice fishing is a success, cook it up on the gas BBQ for a real outdoor taste. The attractions of Minden and Haliburton Villages are all close by, but this cottage will always welcome you back to the sound of tranquility - you might hear nothing louder than the call of the blue jays and chickadees and see nothing faster moving than the early morning deer. |
