The compact kitchen is really quite special with radient heat stove, stainless steel fridge, microwave and dishwasher as well as a toaster, toaster oven, blender and coffee maker. Elsewhere in the cottage there is a washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. |

This cottage has three regular bedrooms with a king, a queen and a double and there is a loft bedroom which is ideal for the little people because there is another king size bed in an area which is only 4 feet high but great for the kids all the same. |

Outside

As nice as this cottage is on the inside, the outside is just as outstanding with a large well designed wrap around deck with table, umbrella, chairs, additional comfortable lounge chairs, flower barrels and a propane barbeque for Chef de Lac Douze Mile. I guess the family Chef was trained in France. Between the cottage and the lake there is a nice grassed in area and there is a good size dock where you will find your new 14 foot aluminum row boat which is rated for 4 people and a maximum motor capacity of 20 HP. Twelve Mile Lake is part of a 3 lake chain with Boshkung and Little Boshkung Lakes. There is a marina on 12 Mile for all your boating needs and the Village of Minden is an easy 20 minute drive from the cottage. In Addition the Village of Haliburton is about a half hour drive and these villages will have everything you will need including major food stores, restaurants, gas stations, hardwares, pharmacies, beer stores, LCBO, live entertainment and many shops to browse and enjoy. If you are into golf, there are several fine golf courses in the area as well as golf driving ranges. If fishing is your passion, Twelve Mile offers some very good bass, white fish and lake trout fishing.
