The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the loft bedroom includes 4 double size beds as well as a television with DVD and satellite reception. In addition there is a second 4 piece bathroom for your convenience. |

Considering that Haliburton Village is only a 20 minute drive from this cottage, this means that this cottage is most appropriate for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art. This is a pretty property out on a point on 12 Mile Lake in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands. As you exit the cottage there is a deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a propane barbeque for Chef 12 Mile. There is a substantial dock and this is where you will find your row boat with oars for your on water pleasure. There is a marina nearby if you wish to rent a more substantial water craft to explore Little and Big Boshkung Lakes which are the other 2 lakes in this three lake chain. And don't forget your fishing gear because there are bass, lake trout and whitefish in 12 Mile Lake. On the property there is a volleyball / badminton net and if golf is your game, there are several fine courses to test your skill in the area. The nearest village is Carnarvon and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, Minden is only a 10 minute drive away and Haliburton Village is only a 20 minute drive from this cottage. These villages feature large food stores, quaint shops, pharmacies, LCBO, beer stores, restaurants, live entertainment, health care and hospitals if needed in an emergency.
