When you are describing the best, it never ends up sounding as good as it really is
and this is certainly the case with Albesand Point on 12 Mile Lake.



The predominate feature of the living room is a set of windows which are duplicated at the front of the cottage and which ensures that the open concept living room, kitchen and dining room are bright from morning till night.
Furnishings include a sofa, love seat, a few chairs, a magnificent wagon wheel coffee table and
smooth double sided river rock fireplace which adjoins the screened in porch.
This beautiful fireplace is very decorative purposes only during the summer season.
In addition by rental season next summer, there will be a flat screen
television with DVD and satellite reception.


The fully equipped kitchen includes granite top counters, a fridge, stove, microwave,
toaster oven, convection oven, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher and a
washer / dryer. The main dining area is just off the kitchen with a
large harvest table, a small breakfast nook and a few stools
at the kitchen island if needed. This whole area also has
radiant heat flooring. Are you starting to get the
feeling that this cottage is indeed special?


There are 5 bedrooms in the cottage including the master bedroom with a king size bed, bedroom 2 and 3 also have
king size beds, bedroom 4 has a queen and a set of double / single bunks and bedroom 5 has 2 sets of
double / single bunks. The owner of this cottage insists that
no more than 14 people occupy the cottage.


There are 4 bathrooms for your convenience including one 4 piece, two 3 piece and one 2 piece bathroom.


And before we leave the inside, have a look at the screened in porch
with a ping pong table and the beautiful stone fireplace.

Outside

As spectacular as this cottage is on the inside, the outside will knock your socks off. To begin with, this is an absolutely flat property from roadside to beach so you should have no complaints about this cottage property. As you exit the cottage, there is a large furnished stone patio with a large table to seat 10 and a large umbrella to protect you from the sun. The patio also has a large 10 seater hot tub with 3 stools and a place to put your drinks while waiting for a spot to open up in the tub. Rest assured that there will be an abundance of wrinkled bodies by the end of your vacation. For those not interested in soaking in the Hot tub, a small table seating 2-4 people awaits nearby for that favorite round of cards.
In addition, please understand that this patio is also the kitchen for the executive family chef who can be found working at the propane barbeque. As you make your way off the patio, you will eventually feel the sand between your toes which is your signal that you have reached the beach. This is where you will probably find the kids while on vacation. As well the owner has thought of everything and a 150 foot dog run is available for the family pet. Down the shore a ways from the beach is your canoe and another area where there is a 90 foot long floating dock which provides deep water swimming complete with a ladder for easy exit from the water. There is also 4 lawn chairs on the dock to sit and watch the swimmers.
Last but not least there is a horseshoe pit, a badminton net, a hammock and a fire pit for those
evening marshmallow roasts as you watch the sun go down in a blaze of glory.
