Every once in the while a cottage comes along which is different and interesting in it's layout. 12 Mile 27 is just such a cottage which we are sure you and your family will enjoy. For those of you who are not familiar with 12 Mile Lake, this lake is most popular due to it's easy access from Hwy 35 which is the main north south corridor through the Haliburton Highlands as well as the fact that it is part of a 3 lake chain of 12 Mile Lake, Little Boshkung and Big Boshkung. In addition the lake is serviced by a marina relatively close by if you wish to rent a motor boat and the cottage is only 15 minutes from the Village of Minden. The cottage property is outstanding with all the popular exterior amenities such as a huge, nicely furnished deck with a serious propane barbecue for the Family Chef, lots of chairs, a hot tub, a super view, a shore patio, fire pit, extensive dock and a gradual entry to a sandy bottom shoreline. The property is nearly flat with only a slight incline just before the shoreline. In addition there is a floating swim raft for that perfect tan. The cottage comes with a row boat, paddle boat and 2 kayaks for your on water pleasure. There is much to see and do in this area. If golf is your exercise, there are several fine courses in the Highlands. If fishing is your passion, there are bass and trout in the shimmering waters of 12 Mile Lake.
