The well equipped country kitchen comes with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster,
coffee maker, dish washer and washer / dryer. In addition there is a propane stove in the corner of the kitchen as well. |

The cottage has 2 bedrooms with the master having a queen size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds and a juvenile bed for the young one. There is also a double sofa bed if needed. |

Just look at this property !!! The cottage sits on a slight rise above the shoreline for an unobstructed view of the shimmering waters of Bitter Lake. As you exit the cottage you are on a rather large deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a propane barbeque for Chef Golden Tan. The stroll to the lake is down a very slight incline and on the way you will pass your fire pit and sand box and then onto your furnished shore deck and dock with a canoe and paddleboat for your on water enjoyment. This cottage is close to just about everything. The Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Centre is an easy 15 minute drive as well as the Wolf Centre. To the south, is the Village of West Guilford and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is another 10 minutes from West Guilford. There are several golf courses to take your frustrations out on and don't forget your fishing gear because you are surrounded by over 600 lakes in the Haliburton Highlands. I great day trip of about an hour duration will get you to Algonquin Park and all the wonders of the great outdoors in this hugh Provincial Park. All in all there is much to see and do if you wish or you can take part in our favorite pass time, doing absolutely nothing but having a sip of your favorite drink while the sun warms your body on the shore deck. |
