The great room is just that, simply great. The room features two sofas with matching extra wide chairs, wood burning fireplace, large screen television with Blu Ray DVD and satellite dish, a good library of books and DVD's,
a well
stocked board game supply, ping pong, cribbage, pichenotte and a stereo
sound system throughout the cottage and property which is second to none. All this and we throw in an outstanding view of Bitter Lake which is ever present from all rooms facing the lake. |

The kitchen comes equipped with a brand new stainless steel fridge and stove, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and dishwasher. There are 8 barstools to sit and chat with Just off the kitchen there is a dining area to seat 12 people in comfort. And let's not forget a laundry room where there is a washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. |

The master bedroom is special indeed with a queen size bed, a walk in closet, and there is a sunroom which forms a part of the master bedroom suite which has a couple of chairs, a nice library and a beautiful view of Bitter Lake, morning, noon and night. |

There are 4 additional bedrooms with various size beds to sleep ten more in comfort
in the cottage. Standard beds in the main cottage have new mattresses and the bunks for the kids have twin mattresses. If anyone wants some privacy, 2 people can opt to go sleep on a double futon in the bunkie below. |

There are 2 bathrooms for your convenience with one having a walk-in shower and the other being a full four piece bath.
And for those who are truly adventuresome, there is a
shower on the deck for your use before the ducks get up or to get that pesky sand off before entering the cottage. |

On the upper level, there is a play room for the kids where there is a sofa, a crafts area if you wish and a television with VCR and DVD including a large assortment of kids videos for their enjoyment. This room will be a lifesaver for you and the kids if the weather takes a turn. |

Outside

The outside of this cottage is just as exciting as the interior and it all starts with a deck that is just about as good as it gets. The feature of the main deck is a weather protected hot tub which has an outdoor TV and sound system, comfortable seating, an outdoor shower, an incredible view while showering and a serious propane barbeque for the Chef de Jour. In addition, there is a beautiful teak dining table and umbrella with cushioned seating for eight in comfort. As you progress to the next level of the property, this is where you will find perhaps the best fire pit in our inventory of cottages, a sand box for the kids and a small pond complete with frogs. . On the next level there is a full size beach volleyball / badminton court for those who are into exercise during their vacation. And last but not least, at the lake level there is an extensive dock with comfortable deck chairs and a diving board along with a children's slide into the water. In addition, at the dock there will be a paddleboat and canoe for your on water enjoyment. This cottage is situated half way between West Guilford and Kennisis Lake which makes for easy access from Hwy 118. There are several shops, a general store and gas station in West Guilford and if you are looking for more serious shopping, the Village of Haliburton is only a 10 minute drive from West Guilford. In Haliburton Village there are many shops, restaurants, bars, beer store, LCBO, pharmacies, hardware, health care as well as several golf courses in the surrounding countryside.
