The spacious kitchen comes with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and the ever popular dishwasher as well as a washer / dryer elsewhere in the cottage. Right beside the kitchen there is a large dining area with a table to seat eight people in comfort and if needed there are an additional 5 stools at the side bar counter in the kitchen. |

Next to the dining area there is a comfortable sitting area which can serve multiple purposes but we like to think that this would be an ideal place for an after dinner drink as you look out over beautiful Boshkung Lake. |

There are 4 bedrooms in the cottage with two queens and two doubles to sleep eight in comfort. |

There are three 4 piece bathrooms in the cottage.
The main bathroom has a jacuzzi tub
as well as a stand up shower and the other 2 bathrooms have tub and shower as well as heat lamps for your after shower or bath comfort. |

The cottage has a spacious rec room with a number of toys for your enjoyment including several sofas for lounging, a picnic table in front of the stone fireplace, a stationary exercise bike, a foosball game, a chess set, a TV / VCR / DVD with satellite and even a commercial size fridge to keep your drinks cool. |

The Haliburton Highlands and it's winter mantle of snow comes alive at this delightful winter retreat. It really doesn't matter if you are looking for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, downhill, snow boarding or ice fishing, all are within an easy drive of this winter rental cottage. At the cottage there is a propane barbeque for the executive chef of the family. On the lake side of the cottage there is a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts. This cottage is near the Village of Carnarvon at the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 118 making for easy access to this cottage. It is only another 15 to 20 minute drive to the villages of Minden and Haliburton where there are many quaint shops, restaurants, service stations, banking, pharmacies, beer stores, LCBO, live entertainment, theatre, hospitals and clinics if needed. And don't forget your fishing gear because there are bass, trout and whitefish in Boshkung just waiting for you to arrive. Boshkung Lake is one of the larger lakes in the Highlands but only one of 600 lakes in all of Haliburton County. And if you are looking for something a little different, there are always dog sled tours going on in the county.
