This very attractive cottage is on the famous 5 lake chain of Haliburton County which goes from Haliburton Village to Minden so there is plenty of water to explore.This is the southern most lake in the chain but if you wish, you can boat all the way to Haliburton Village which is about 20 kilometers away. As you exit the cottage you enter a nicely furnished, child safe wrap around deck which surrounds the cottage on 2 sides. This deck is furnished with tables, umbrellas, several lounge chairs and a propane barbecue for the family chef. Does it get any better than this? As you head down the stairs to the ground level of the property, you will find yet another fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts and sing-a-longs. The shoreline is dominated by an extensive dock and shore deck with screened in gazebo for your lounging pleasure and furnished with wicker furniture. This cottage rental includes a row boat and kayak for your on water pleasure. If you plan to bring your own boat or wish to rent a motor for the row boat, there is a marina for all your boating needs on Lake Kashagawigamog which is the next lake in the chain. Seeing that you are about a 10 minute drive from Minden and a 15 minute drive to the Village of Haliburton, you have a choice for supplies because both villages have large food stores, restaurants, service stations, quaint shops, pharmacies, banking, LCBO, beer stores and health care if needed at hospitals in both villages.
