The living room in the main cottage has a comfortable sofa, chair, wood burning stove,
television with VCR and DVD as well as a stereo radio with cassette and CD player. |

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. There are two places to eat at a table which seats four off the kitchen as well as a circular table in the sun room which can seat another five in comfort. |

There is one bedroom in the main cottage with a double bed and there is a 2 piece washroom for your convenience as well as a private outdoor shower when the spirit moves you. |

The sunroom is nicely furnished with a sofa, two chairs and the aforementioned table and chairs for games, crafts or dining if needed. |

This cottage property is very large with plenty of room to play those popular lawn games and there is even a play house pictured below for the young ones. The property is relatively flat with a very gradual incline to the waters edge where you will find the bunkie, a dock, your own kayak, sail boat, row boat and canoe, a beach with gradual entry and sandy to soft bottom. This property is at the southern end of Canning Lake and if you bring your own motor boat you can sail all the way to Haliburton Village about 20 kilometers away. The 5 lake chain has some great fishing for bass, lake trout, walleye, whitefish and muskie so don't forget your fishing gear. The 5 lake chain is made up of Canning Lake, Kashagawigamog, Soyers, Grass and Head Lakes. Within a 15 minute drive you are in the Villages of Minden and Haliburton where there are many shops, restaurants, drinking establishments, large food stores, LCBO, beer stores, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals if needed and several quality golf courses if golf is your passion. There is much to see and do in the Haliburton Highlands with over 600 lakes, quaint villages, hiking and biking trails, artisan studios and the busy Haliburton School of Art. In addition there is live entertainment throughout the summer.
