The Living room is comfortable in it's simplicity with comfortable sofa and chairs in front of a large double sided stone fireplace. As with all room on this side of the cottage there is a walkout to a
full width deck overlooking the sparkling waters of Drag Lake. |

Next door to the living room is a spacious television room with additional comfortable sofas, a television with VCR, DVD and satellite dish in front of the other side of the double sided stone fireplace. |

The only thing wrong with this outstanding kitchen is that you may not want to leave this area of the cottage. The kitchen has everything including fine cabinetry, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, lots of counter space and an island food prep area for your convenience. |

Next to the kitchen is a dining area with a large harvest table with seating for at least eight people and there are stools at the kitchen bar for three more. |

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a walkout to the deck as well as an en suite bathroom which is simply tremendous with Jacuzzi, double sinks and spacious shower for your convenience. |

There are three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms which ensures there is room and privacy for one and all.
In addition there is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer as well as a built in ironing board. Is there no end to the features of this cottage? |

And to this all off, there is a large games room over the 2 car garage which includes a card table, shuffleboard, ping pong table and a dry bar for entertaining away from the main cottage. This room has fun and enjoyment written all over it especially in the evening and during inclement weather. |

This cottage is on a large piece of property which sits on a rise above the lake which provides for a very pleasant panoramic view of Drag Lake and the surrounding countryside. As you exit the cottage there is a full width deck with table, umbrella, chairs and a propane barbeque for the Chef de Famille. As you make your way to the lakefront down a well constructed stone staircase, you can't help but stop every once in the while to admire the incredible view. At the shoreline there is a huge stone patio with built in stone fire pit which will surely become the venue of choice in the evening as the sun goes down. The view from this patio is outstanding. There is a small dock with a water craft to be determined later. This cottage is about a 20 minute drive from the Village of Haliburton where there are major food stores, shops, LCBO, beer store, pharmacies, hospital, clinic, golf courses, the Haliburton School of Art, live theatre and much more. Needless to say, you will have a fun filled vacation at this very private cottage.
