The layout of this cottage is a little different insomuch as the lower level is the main living area with the living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room is oh so comfortable with 2 sofas and 2 chairs, a television with satellite reception and
a clean burning propane fireplace to take the chill off those early and late season mornings.

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker and a dishwasher to help get you back to the beach a little quicker. Elsewhere in the cottage there is even a full washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. Just off the kitchen there is a most attractive dining area with a good size harvest table and seating for 8 people. |

| There are 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms in this cottage and 3 are situated on the upper level of the cottage. The master bedroom on the lower level comes with a queen size bed, bedroom 2 has a double size bed, bedroom 3 comes with a double size bed and the 4th bedroom which would be ideal for the younger kids in the family, comes decorated in bright colours and has 2 twin size beds. The cottage has 2 bathrooms with one being a full 3 piece bath and the 2nd bathroom is a 2 piece with sink and toilet only. |

| Are you ready for something a little different? The great room is on the upper level of the cottage and what a great room it is, all knotty pine walls, large sectional sofa, several chairs, a propane stove and a second television with satellite reception. There is no doubt that this will become the most popular room in the cottage. |

Outside

This cottage with southern exposure is situated on the most beautiful and very popular Drag Lake, about 15 minutes from Haliburton Village which makes it a desirable rental for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art. The cottage itself is on a nicely wooded lot with a small stream running down one boundary line. As you exit the cottage from the lower level, there is a full width patio under the upper deck where one can hide from the sun if needed and where the family chef will find the tools of the trade, a propane barbeque. The upper deck is accessible from the rec room and is furnished with many chairs, table and umbrella for your lounging pleasure. From the upper deck there is a very nice view of the shore and the lake beyond. Half way between the cottage and the shoreline there is a quality fire pit with seating for those evening marshmallow roasts. At the lakefront there is a screened in Gazebo for protection when the little buggies are on the wing. The shore has a sandy beach with a gradual entry with a sandy bottom. The pictures below were taken throughout the spring, summer and fall so as the water levels drop through the summer, much more beach becomes exposed but rest assured, the shoreline is safe, sandy and child friendly all year long.
