The living room has a a sofa, a couple of chairs,and a beautiful fireplace to take the chill off
early season rentals if need be. The view of Eagle Lake from the living room is outstanding and there is a walkout from most rooms on the main level of the cottage. |

There is a sunroom / lounge / TV room on this level as well with a sofa, a couple of chairs, a Television with DVD and satellite reception of course and a nice view of the front gardens. |

The kitchen comes complete with a fridge, stove, mirrowave, toaster and
coffee maker. Just of the kitchen there is a spacious, very nicely appointed dining area with an attractive dining table with seating for four and there are two stools at the kitchen bar for two more diners. |

The master bedroom is very comfortable with a queen size bed, a couple of chairs and a walkout to the lakeside deck. Just outside the master bedroom there is a 4 piece bath for your convenience. |

The other 2 bedrooms in the lower level have double size bunk beds to ensure everyone's comfort and space. |

On this lower level there is a rec room which isn't really pictured here fully because it was being used for storage on the day of my visit but rest assured that the rec room will be available including sofa and chairs, an outstanding stone fireplace as well as a television for your video viewing. |

The location of this cottage is just about perfect with the Eagle Lake Village close by with a dandy country store, gas station, LCBO and beer store combined for all your vacation supply needs. Eagle Lake Village is within 15 minutes of Haliburton Village making for easy access to all campuses of the Haliburton School of Art. As you exit the cottage main upper level there is a full width deck with several lounge chairs, a picnic table with umbrella and a propane barbeque for Executive Chef Eagle. The view from the deck is simply awesome with the islands on Eagle Lake clearly visible in the distance. From the walkout on the lower level, there is a stone patio with yet another picnic table and an expanse of good lawn to the shoreline. At the shore there is a sandy beach with gradual entry and sandy bottom for your swimming pleasure and an "L" shaped dock where you will find your canoe and row boat for your on water pleasure. As you can see from the pictures below, the grounds surrounding this cottage are well groomed and ready for those lawn games which are so popular. Eagle Lake has an abundance of lake trout, bass and whitefish so don't forget your fishing gear. Eagle Lake is but one of 600 lakes in Haliburton County. If golf is your passion, there is a dandy 9 hole course within minutes of the cottage as well as several other quality courses within the Haliburton Highlands. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, Haliburton Village is a short 15 minute drive where you will find quaint country shops, large food stores, pharmacies, live theatre, several restaurants, health care and the Haliburton Hospital if needed. In addition, there is always something going on in the village such as flee markets, regattas, Highland Games, street dances etc. for your family's enjoyment.
