There are 4 bedrooms in the cottage with 2 king size beds made up of 2 twins pushed together. In addition there are 2 other bedrooms, one with 2 singles to make a double and the other with one single. There is also a full 4 piece bathroom for your convenience and another 3 piece bathroom with shower. |

Needless to say, when you rent a winter rental accommodation, you want to be close to winter activities. This cottage on Eagle Lake is within 5 minutes of Sir Sam's Ski Area which has 12 groomed runs and 5 ski lifts as well as their own snow making equipment which ensures that there is good skiing and good snowboarding during your winter vacation. Of course there is a propane barbeque for the executive Chef of the family but if you wish to eat out, there are several fine restaurants within an easy drive. If snowmobiling is your passion, this cottage is strategically located on ever popular Eagle Lake which is part of a 2 lake chain with Moose Lake and there are 350 km of groomed trails in The Highlands heading north, south, east and west from the Eagle Lake area. There is a dandy country store 2 minutes from the cottage in Eagle Lake Village for supplies as well as an LCBO and beer store within the complex. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is a short 15 minute drive from the cottage where you will find large food stores, pharmacies, restaurants, service stations, quaint shops and a hospital for all your health care situations if needed.
