The compact country kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, blender and coffee maker and all the pots, pans, dishes and cutlery you will need for a great vacation. Just off the kitchen there is a good size harvest table to seat 6 - 8 in comfort and there is additional dining space in the sunroom. |

This cottage has 3 bedrooms which include a queen size and a single bed in the master, a double and a single in bedroom 2 and a double size bed in bedroom 3.In addition there is a dandy bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, standup shower, vanity and a convenience. |

The main floor also has a glassed and screened in sun room if the weather should make a change and there is a walkout from the sun room to the deck. |

Outside

This fine cottage is situated in the Haliburton Highlands just outside the Village of Gooderham on Gooderham Lake. This lake is just over a kilometer long and within a 20 minute drive of Haliburton Village which makes it appropriate for mature students attending The Haliburton School of Art. As you exit the cottage there is a good size deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a propane barbeque for the family burger and dog specialist. Not far from the cottage there is a fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts. Down at the lakefront, there is a fine child safe beach with gradual entry and sandy bottom. In addition there is a dock where you will find a row boat and canoe for your on water pleasure as well as a swim platform just off shore for those who want to work on that perfect tan. The cottage is within a few minutes of the Village of Gooderham where there is a grocery / convenience store, restaurant, service station, LCBO and beer store, tennis courts and public beach. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is only 20 minutes away where there are quaint shops, large food stores, restaurants, live entertainment, theatre, banking, pharmacies, health care and the Haliburton Hospital if needed.
