Outside
|
The outside is every bit as neat as the inside with a gently sloping property to the river's edge. As you exit the cottage there is a large wrap around deck with many Adirondack chairs as well as a dining gazebo. Just off the deck there is a picnic table as well as a badminton / volleyball court beyond. Next comes the bunkie and onto the fire pit which is so popular with the kids in the evening where they can enjoy a small fire beside the river and a marshmallow roast. There are actually 2 docks at the river and the best swimming is off the dock. The cottage comes with a canoe and kayak. This cottage is conveniently located in the centre of Haliburton County with easy access from north, south, east and west. The nearest major village is Haliburton Village with quaint shops, large food stores, restaurants, live entertainment, theatre, pharmacies, service stations, LCBO and beer store. Health care is readily available at the local Hospital. So think twice about passing this one by because it is a fine cottage, in a great location and available to the young executive family looking for a great vacation.
