As is usually the case, this unassuming little beauty is tucked away on a small cottage road and hard to see unless you know exactly where to look. The cottage actually backs into a hillside behind the cottage which ensures your privacy on all sides. As you exit the cottage there is a furnished deck at the front of the cottage with a table, chairs, umbrella and a propane barbeque for you know who. All families have one but each executive Family Chef has his or her own specialties. There is also a furnished shore deck for your lounging enjoyment and there is even a small beach in August when the water drawdown gets underway. The cottage comes with a canoe and kayak for your on water pleasure and if you feel like renting a small motor boat to fish with, the Fort Irwin Marina is just across the bay from the cottage. The nearest village is Eagle Lake Village where there is a good country store and service station but if you are looking for more substantial shopping, Haliburton Village is only a 20 minute drive from the cottage. In Haliburton there are quaint shops, large food stores, pharmacies, service stations, restaurants, live entertainment and so much more. If golf is your passion, there are several golf courses in the Highlands to test your skill. And don't forget your fishing gear because Haliburton County is bass country with over 600 lakes to choose from. So don't wait, call
