This cottage is built very close to the lake which provides a panoramic view of
Horseshoe Lake. There is a dock and a canoe for your use and there is a nice new
deck with table, chairs and umbrella at the lake for your lounging pleasure. There is a boat launch right on the property which also forms a gradual entry into the water for the young ones. In addition, there is a very large grassed in level playing field at the rear of the cottage which is perfect for those popular lawn games. This cottage is situated about 10 minutes from Minden where there are many shops, restaurants, gas stations, LCBO, beer store, pharmacy, a hospital and a golf course to test your skill. And a bonus is the Tim Hortons right on Hwy 35 which is the major north / south corridor through the Haliburton Highlands. If you are looking for a great day trip, this cottage is about an hour from Algonquin Park. And don't forget your fishing gear because there are bass and trout in the shimmering waters of Horseshoe Lake. If white water kayaking is your passion, you are within 5 minutes of the world famous Minden White Water Reserve. Make sure you visit this area and watch kayakers from all over the world test their skill on this challenging white water run.
