The bright and comfortable living room comes with a sofa, 3 chairs,
a TV / VCR, a video library and a wood burning stove.


The well equipped kitchen comes complete with fridge, chest freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and there is a washer / dryer for all your laundry needs. Just off the kitchen there
is a neat dining area with glass table and seating for six as well as a 5 gallon water dispenser.
The entire cottage is on well water with a UV filtration system.



The bedrooms are exceptional with a queen size in the master, 2 twin size in the second bedroom
and a twin size day bed with trundle bed in the third bedroom. In addition
there is a full 4 piece bath for your convenience.

Outside

River properties are not for everyone and not everyone knows what they are missing. This rental agency happens to like river properties and this one is truly exceptional because of the
seclusion and the peace and quiet. Sitting on it's own 13.8 acres and on 1600 feet of
riverfront, this property is incredibly quiet. The outside starts with a good size
deck with table, umbrella, bench, chairs and a propane barbeque for
Chef Riviere de Irondale the third. With a title like that he had
better have a chef hat (and yes, the cottage even has one
of those)! The cottage is surrounded by flat grass so
if lawn games are your thing, by all means bring
them along. As you make your way to the
shoreline, you will pass a hammock
which will put your tour of the
property on hold for an hour or two.
Stand or sit at the picnic table and marvel
at the view of the Irondale River coming towards
you and then swinging to the right at your cottage.
There is seating on the dock as well as your very own
canoe and paddleboat when the spirit moves you. The Irondale
River is a designated canoe route and the river is navigable for 6
kilometers and further still if you don't mind a portage. There are walking
trails on the property and the countryside is loaded with history as the books
in the cottage library will attest. This cottage is close to the Village of Kinmount and
about a half hour from the Village of Haliburton and Minden where there are art galleries,
museums, shops, food stores, bars and restaurants. And don't forget your fishing gear because there are fish in that thar river right at your door. So if the doctor has prescribed total relaxation in a country cottage filled with charm, look no farther than Irondale River 3. Call WRD to reserve
