The most comfortable living room comes with a sofa and love seat as well as a couple
of chairs and an entertainment centre which includes a television with DVD,
a video game library and system as well as a video library for your viewing pleasure.

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, convection oven, microwave, toaster, blender,
coffee maker, dishwasher and there is a washer dryer in the lower level of the cottage.
In addition there is a large dining area off the kitchen with seating for 8
and there is a wood stove in the dining area as well.

There are a total of 4 bedrooms in the cottage with a master bedroom with a double size bed and 3 bedrooms in the lower level with 2 double size beds and a set of bunks in the 4th bedroom with
a double bottom and single top. In addition there is a 3 piece bathroom for your convenience.

Outside

Considering that this cottage is within 10 minutes of Haliburton Village, this makes this cottage most attractive for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art. This cottage is strategically located on Lake Kashagawigamog which is part of the 5 lake chain in Haliburton County which means that there is much water to explore if you have your own motorized watercraft or if you wish to rent a boat from Bryson's Marina nearby. This chain consists of Head Lake, Grass Lake, Kashagawigamog, Soyers and Canning Lakes which form a chain of lakes from Haliburton Village to near Minden. From the cottage, you can be in the Village of Haliburton in about 25 minutes by boat and there is a public dock in the Village, one block from the downtown where you can moor your boat while you do your shopping or have lunch. Sounds like a fun trip to us !!!
This cottage sits on a rise above the lake which provides a nice view from the cottage. As you exit the cottage there is a deck with table, chairs and a propane barbeque for the executive chef of the family. Beside the cottage there is a very comfortable fire pit for those popular marshmallow roasts in the evening. As you make your way down a well constructed staircase you will come to your dock where you will find your paddleboat and canoe. At the shoreline, there is a rock patio to lounge the time away watching the boats come and go as the day goes on. There are steps into the water from a rocky shoreline and there is swimming off the dock where there is a ladder for easy entry and exit.
Because of the stairs to the lake, this cottage is not for everyone but if you have a young, fit family, we are sure you will enjoy this newly renovated cottage in the Haliburton Highlands.
