Breaking News - This cottage now has a backup 10 KW generator for essential services - don't let your vacation be ruined by a power outage. When the power goes out (and it does in cottage country) your backup generator will automatically kick in to ensure that you have water pressure, hot water in the main cottage, refrigerator and microwave in the main cottage, several lights in the kitchen and common area of the main cottage and lights in the bathroom off the common area in the main cottage.


The spacious living room comes with a sofa, love seat, an easy chairs, a stone wood burning fireplace,
a flat screen television with DVD and satellite reception, a card table at one end of the room
and a stereo CD player, video library and so much more.
Note: Indoor fireplace not available during summer season May 1 to Sept 30.


The well equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker,
dishwasher and there is a washer dryer elsewhere in the cottage. Just off the kitchen, but
in a separate room is the dining area with a large harvest table and seating for twelve.


In the main cottage there are 3 bedrooms to sleep 7 in comfort in a king size bed in the master bedroom,
a queen size bed and a single in bedroom two and a queen size bed in bedroom 3. Each bedroom
has plenty of windows and the master has a walkout to it's own private deck.

In the main cottage there are two and a half bathrooms - one is a 4 piece bathroom, one is a
3 piece bathroom with stand up shower and there is a 2 piece bathroom as well for your convenience.

Bunkie

WOW !
It is almost an injustice to call this a bunkie but this is what it is and if we were to rent this on it's own, it would be worth around $1200. This bunkie is self contained with 2 bedrooms and sleeping for 5, a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, a small table for your morning coffee, a 3 piece bathroom and even a television with satellite reception in one of the bedrooms. Outside there is a good size furnished deck for your lounging pleasure.

Outside

This cottage is situated on Lake Kashagawigamog which is part of the famous 5 lake chain of Haliburton County. This chain of lakes runs between Haliburton Village and Minden which is about 20 km away so there is much water to explore. As you exit the main level of the cottage there is a decent size, furnished deck with table, chairs and a serious propane barbeque for the executive chef of the family or group. This deck is equipped to host the deck dinner of all deck dinners for 12 as you will see below. Needless to say, the view from this deck is most impressive indeed. This cottage is on a sloped, terraced property with the cottage being on the first terrace so once you are off the cottage deck, there are stone steps leading to the second terrace where there is a large fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts and singalongs. In addition there is a tetherball as well as a badminton and volleyball net for your use. The last terrace is the shoreline where there is a large furnished shore deck with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. Off this shore deck is where you will find your child safe, gradual entry beach with sandy bottom. This shore deck also has a good size change room with a few comfortable seats and a refreshment fridge. A boat house completes this shore deck, dock and beach area and the boat house is where you will find your canoe, kayaks and row boat. Within the neighborhood of this cottage there is fishing of course, several golf courses and some quality restaurants. If you are in need of supplies, your cottage is about half way between Haliburton Village and Minden where there are quaint shops, large food stores, service stations, beer store, LCBO, banking, pharmacies, restaurants, live entertainment and a hospital in each town for health care.
