This cottage is superb with a large open concept living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room features a large stone fireplace, two comfortable overstuffed sofas and chairs as well as a
significant supply of board games to play while at the cottage.

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and the most important dishwasher. Just off the kitchen there is a large harvest table to seat at least 8 people in
comfort and there are a couple of stools at the kitchen island for those
who wish to chat with the family Chef.

There is sleeping for 10 in the cottage and the nicely furnished master bedroom
features a king size bed as well as an en suite washroom for your convenience.

There are 2 additional bedrooms on the main level of the cottage which include a queen size bed in bedroom 2 and 2 sets of double bunks in bedroom 3. There is a fourth sleeping area
in the rec room area if needed. (see below)


There is a bunkie on the property
which is very rustic but fun for the
kids if they wish to spend a night
roughing it. In the bunkie there are
2 single bench beds.

There is a rec room in the lower level with a futon, a television / DVD and satellite dish for your viewing pleasure, a ping pong table as well as another fridge for your drinks.
There is also a sleeping area with 2 single futon beds if needed. These can be
converted to futon sofas during the day when viewing television which
comes with a DVD and satellite reception for your viewing pleasure.
In addition there is a laundry on this level as well.

And on your way to the deck, there is a delightful screened in sunroom for your lounging pleasure.

Outside

Outside there is a full width furnished deck with muskoka chairs, a propane barbeque and in front of the deck there is a level area covered with sand for those popular yard games as well as a picnic table. There is a well constructed 25 steps staircase to the waterfront where you will find a good size dock and your own canoe. The shoreline has a gradual entry and sandy bottom for your swimming pleasure. Kawagama is the largest lake in the Haliburton Highlands and is serviced by
two 2 marinas for all your boating needs. The cottage is with 15 minutes of the Village of Dorset where there are supplies if needed at Robinson's Store which was voted the best country store in Canada a few year ago. In addition you are less than an hours drive from Algonquin Park which is the largest Provincial Park in Ontario and the perfect destination for a great day trip in the country.
