The bright, well equipped kitchen comes with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and Mom's favorite helper, a dishwasher. Just off the kitchen there is a
comfortable dining area with a table and seating for six in comfort but when you see the outside we think the deck will be where everyone will want to dine. |

Outside
|
The outside is what cottaging is all about and this outside is very different and really quite unique. It all starts with a large wrap around deck which is really close to the water and which has comfortable seating, a table, chairs and umbrella and an awesome view of Kennisis Lake. Just off the deck there is a shore deck with very interesting chairs and a super view of your dock. The shoreline is so interesting with a property wide curving set of stairs going right into the water. Later in the summer when the lake starts to recede, these stairs will end up on your beach later in August. Your rather extensive 25 foot dock is a deep water dock which is great for the older children who like to dive off the dock. There are even chairs on the dock for those in the family looking for that perfect tan. All in all this is an exciting cottage property with tremendous potential. Kennisis Lake is part of a two lake chain with Little Kennisis and there is a marina on Kennisis for all your boating needs. The Haliburton Forest is nearby and as you probably know, there are always things going on in the forest during the summer including the Wolf Compound and the ever popular Walk In The Clouds. The nearest town is West Guilford and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, The Village of Haliburton is a short 10 minute drive from West Guilford. This cottage will not be for everyone but if you have children who enjoy swimming off the dock, this cottage will be a hit.
