Outside

The outside is as neat and clean as the inside. There is a full width, child safe, wrap around, furnished deck with a table, chairs and umbrella, additional chairs and a propane barbeque for Chef de Burger and Dogs. The property has a very slight incline and certainly appropriate for anyone with problem knees or back. This property is also ideal for those popular lawn games such as badminton and Bocci Ball. In addition there is a fire pit for those popular marshmallow roasts as well as a dock where you will find your canoe and paddleboat for your on water pleasure. Depending on the date of your vacation, there will be a beach towards the end of August when the water draw-down takes effect and although the beach is a gradual entry, it does drop off fairly quick so the property is best for experienced swimmers. Kennisis is part of a 2 lake chain with Little Kennisis and the home of the Haliburton Forest where there is always something going on including the Walk In The Clouds and The Wolf Centre. If you are in need of supplies, the town of West Guilford is a 20 minute drive where there is a dandy country store and market. If you are looking for more substantial shopping the Village of Haliburton is only 10 minutes from West Guilford where you will find quaint shops, restaurants, large food stores, beer store, LCBO, live entertainment, service stations, healthcare and so much more.
