The open concept main floor includes a gourmet kitchen which we think you will want to take home when you leave. The kitchen includes just about everything you would expect in a gourmet kitchen. Off the kitchen there is a large harvest table which can seat 10 in comfort. Once again this dining area faces the peace and tranquility of Kennisis Lake. |

The cottage sleeps 8 to10 in comfort in various sized beds from a king to a queen, a double, and 2 twins. In a 5th bedroom there is a set of double bottom and single top bunks as well as a double futon if needed. | This cottage is just around the corner from The Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre. This cottage is also within a matter of minutes of Kennisis Lake Marina where you can gas up your machine or rent a snowmobile and the cottage is only 30 minutes from Sir Sam's Ski Area. On the way to Sir Sam's, there are groomed cross country ski trails at Moosewood Trails. The nearest major village is Haliburton where there are major food stores, quaint shops, restaurants, LCBO, beer store, service stations, live entertainment, parmacies, health care and the local Haliburton Hospital if needed.
