| There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage including a master with double bed, another double in bedroom 2 and bedroom 3 comes with 2 singles. In addition there is a double sofa bed in the living room if needed. There is a new bathroom with a dandy soaker tub and shower for your convenience. |

Outside
|
Outside is most interesting considering that this cottage is situated on a point which results in one of the great views of the Haliburton Highlands. When you look out from shore you can understand why the Haliburton Highlands is called "Nature's Natural Work Of Art". In addition, this cottage is only 15 minutes from Haliburton Village which makes it most appropriate for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art. The pictures below were taken both in summer and during the fall when the water levels were down. You can easily see the various levels of the water during the year by the lines on the rocks which almost circle the property. For swimmers the swimming is great as you walk off the gradual sloped rocks into the water. There is also a water platform moored off shore for your enjoyment.
The deck is nicely furnished with loungers and a propane barbeque and the dock area is where you will find your row boat, canoe, paddleboat and kayak. In addition there is a water trampoline for your enjoyment. Koshlong is a good canoeing lake as well as a good fishing lake with lake trout and bass aplenty. Koshlong is also the home for Camp Wanakita, the YMCA Camp in summer. Koshlong Lake is about 6 km long and this cottage is at the far western end of the lake. Supplies, large food stores, quaint shops, restaurants, health care, pharmacies, hospital, service stations, golf, theatre and special events are a mere 15 minutes away in Haliburton Village. We had an enjoyable stay here at Koshlong Lake.
The
swimming and boating was fantastic.
The trampoline is great for kids of all ages.
Most impressive were the sunrises over the lake and nature's beauty.
The cottage was very much appreciated - The Muskoka Room appreciated the most.
Very spacious and with the amenities of home.
