There is a rec room in the lower level which includes a double size futon sofa, a couple of chairs, a card table, television with DVD player, stereo radio as well as a foosball table, an air hockey game, darts and a ping pong table for your enjoyment. In addition there is a walkout from this level to the property. |

Outside

Kushog Lake is a large picturesque lake which runs for about 9 km from Hwy 118 to Hwy 35 and varies in width greatly depending where you are on the lake. The cottage is within minutes of the small village of Carnarvon where there is a service station, restaurants and a convenience store. If you are looking for more substantial shopping the Villages of Haliburton and Minden are about 15 minutes from Carnarvon where there are large food stores, quaint shops, restaurants, golf courses, theatres, pharmacies, banking, LCBO, beer stores, live entertainment and health care at the hospitals in both villages. As you exit your cottage there is a child safe deck with lounge chairs, a table and chairs with umbrella and of course a quality propane barbeque for the family executive chef. Down on the ground there is a large fire pit for those popular marshmallow roasts in the evening and a badminton net if you really want a workout. Just beyond the fire pit there is a beautiful beach with a child safe gradual entry and sandy bottom for your swimming enjoyment. There is also a canoe for your on water pleasure. In addition, the view from the property is outstanding. This cottage is located on a very desirable country road in a quiet neighborhood.
