The outside actually starts inside where there is a delightful screened in porch / deck which can also accommodate the overflow from the dining area inside the cottage. This cottage is on a gentle slope to the lakefront where there is a fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts and your own dock where you will find your canoe and 2 kayaks for your on water pleasure. Don't forget your fishing gear because there are bass and trout in Little Glamour. The nearest village is Gooderham which is about 10 minutes away from the cottage and where you can find the essential supplies if needed. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is about 20 minutes away where there are large food stores, restaurants, quaint shops, an LCBO, a beer store, pharmacies, service stations, health care and a hospital if needed. If golf is your passion there are several golf courses to test your skill and there is live theatre throughout the summer if you need your cultural fix. While in this area, you should try to take in a movie at the Highland's Cinema in Kinmount with 5 theatres and a film museum, a rather unique experience. There is plenty to see and do in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands.
