Outside

This cottage is situated in a very attractive area and this particular property is quite indicative of properties around Little Kennisis Lake. The cottage sits on a rise above the lake and there is a well worn path and stairs to the shoreline. As you exit the cottage there is a full width wrap around deck with many lounge chairs and a gas barbeque for the deck chef. Down at the water front, there is a good size dock where you will find your canoe and the dock is equipped with a ladder for easy exit from the water. The dock is also large enough for a few lounge chairs where you can enjoy your early morning coffee. Little Kennisis is part of a 2 lake chain with Big Kennisis and there is a marina for all your boating needs. The cottage is within a 10 minute drive of the Haliburton Forest where there are different activities all summer long. The nearest village is about a 20 minute drive to West Guilford where there is a dandy country store. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, Haliburton Village is only 10 minutes from West Guilford where there are major food stores, quaint shops, restaurants, pharmacies, health care and even a hospital if necessary.
