The kitchen and dining area is actually the entire original cottage built over 50 years ago and which has been completed restored and renovated to house this most attractive country kitchen and dining room. The kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and dishwasher as well as a delightful collection of kitchen things from the past. |

| The cottage has 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 in absolute comfort. In addition there are 2 bathrooms for your convenience and a laundry room with full washer and dryer for all your laundry needs. Please Note: This washing machine only takes high effeciency detergent. |

| In the lower level there is a furnished rec room with yet another television, an electric stove, a dart board and an exercise bike to work off the pounds gained at the barbeque. |

Outside

The cottage is surrounded by gardens and a super balcony which runs the full width of the cottage and down one side. I can't think of a better place to be with a coffee in hand as the sun rises or sets. The side balcony is under cover and in the front, there is a canvas gazebo to escape the hot afternoon sun. The balcony is of course furnished with chairs and the most important propane barbeque for Chef Sunshine. There are endless places to sit down and enjoy including a spacious furnished shore deck and a dock where you will find your canoe and paddleboat. The dock also has a good ladder for exiting the water because the shoreline is rocky and as a result the best swimming is off the dock. This area is called the Redstone / Kennisis Lake tourist region and there is much to see and do in the area which is dominated by the Haliburton Forest which has a Wolf Compound where you can go and see the wolves being fed as well as the now famous Walk In The Clouds within the Haliburton Forest. Little Kennisis Lake is part of a 2 lake chain with Big Kennisis and if you are planning on bringing your motor boat, there is a marina on Big Kennisis for all your boating needs. The nearest village is about 20 minutes away where there is a dandy country store for supplies and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is another 10 minute drive where there are major food stores, pharmacies, restaurants, quaint shops, service stations, live entertainment and health care if needed at the Haliburton Hospital.
