The excellence
of this property continues as you enter the furnished deck area which
is protected from the elements and which runs the full width of the
cottage. There are 10 chairs and tables for your
lounging pleasure as well as a propane barbeque for the Chef de Fresh Air. The property has a gentle slope to the lake where you will find your own private dock, canoe, paddleboat and gradual entry child safe beach. In addition there is a new shore deck and a beautiful gazebo for a change on lounging venues, but first you have to get past the awesome view as you look down Little Kennisis. This lake is part of a 2 lake chain with Big Kennisis Lake where there is a marina for all your boating needs and close to the Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve. The closest village is West Guilford which is about a 20 minute drive and if you are looking for more substantial shopping and entertainment, Haliburton Village is another 10 from West Guilford. And by all mean, don't forget your fishing gear because this is bass country and there are lake trout in Little Kennisis as well. |
