everything needed for a great vacation. Pictures do not do this cottage justice but suffice to say, this accommodation is superb. |

| The second living room on the upper level provides privacy and space for both adults and kids. Another wood burning stove, another television with DVD and satellite dish plus a quality sound system guarantees entertainment during inclement weather. |

| The country gourmet kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher and there is a washer / dryer elsewhere in the cottage. You don't see eat-in kitchen very often but this is certainly part of the charm with a huge harvest table and side bar to seat 8-10 in comfort. |

The outside is just as exciting as the inside with a full width deck which features a hot tub, many quality lounge chairs, a rather unique picnic table and a gas barbeque for Chef Little Redstone. The property is nicely treed with a path leading to an incredible shoreline which will range from a gradual entry and sandy bottom in July to an incredible beach in August and beyond. There is a good size dock and this is where you will fine your row boat and paddleboat for your on water enjoyment. In addition there is a well made fire pit area for those evening marshmallow roasts which are so popular with the little ones. Little Redstone Lake is part of a 2 lake chain with Redstone Lake so there is a lot of water to explore if you wish. This area of the county is called the Redstone / Kennisis Tourist area and features the Haliburton Forest which is only 5 minutes from the cottage and where there is always something going on during the summer.
Make sure to visit their Wolf Compound or take part in their "Walk In The Clouds". There is also a small convenience store and a restaurant within the Haliburton Forest. The closest village is West Guilford, about a 20 minute drive where there is a good country store with LCBO and a beer store. In addition there is a marina on Kennisis Lake if you wish to rent a more substantial watercraft.
