The living room is huge with three sofas, a couple of chairs, a small table for afternoon tea,
a wood burning stove, a television with DVD and a satellite dish and we throw in the view of Loon Lake for free. |

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and there is a washer / dryer as well for all your laundry needs. In addition there is a separate dining room with seating for 8 in comfort. And the dinner guests can be serenaded by the musician in the family if anyone can play a very good organ which is available for your pleasure. |

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and another television for your video viewing pleasure. The en suite bathroom off the master bedroom is superb
with a large vanity, a Jacuzzi tub and there is a stand up shower as well. |

There are two additional bedrooms with a double bed in bedroom #2 and a set of bunk beds in bedroom #3 with a double bottom and single top. There is a second bathroom with stand up shower for the occupants of these two bedrooms. |

PLEASE NOTE : This cottage is certainly appropriate for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art with all campuses in Haliburton Village being an easy
15 minute drive from the cottage. Needless to say, the outside of a rental cottage is as important as the inside and this cottage exterior and property is simply outstanding. With access from the dining room and the master bedroom, there is a reasonable size deck table with several chairs for your lounging enjoyment and a propane barbeque for the family Executive Chef. In addition there is a chiminia for those evening marshmallow roasts and singalongs. At the shore there is a substantial, furnished shore deck with table, chairs and a great view of Loon Lake. Just off the shore deck there is a good size dock where you will find a row boat and a paddleboat for your fun on the water. A unique feature of this property is a small island just off shore which is connected to the mainland by a foot bridge. Will the kids enjoy this feature? You bet they will and the swimming in this little inlet is child safe with a gradual entry and a sandy / soft bottom. Can it get much better than this? It is the irregular shore line which wraps around this cottage point of land which makes this property so attractive. Loon Lake is about 600 acres in size and there is lake trout, large and small mouth bass, muskie, pickerel and perch in the lake so don't forget your fishing gear. Supplies are readily available in Haliburton Village where you will find large food stores, quaint little shops, pharmacies, gas stations, hardware, beer store, LCBO, several restaurants, live entertainment, theatre, health care and the Haliburton Hospital if needed. If golf is your passion, there are several fine golf courses in the area to test your skill.
