This is a very pretty property which has a slight incline to the lake and there are well constructed,
easy to navigate steps to the shore from the deck. The deck itself is
the full width of the cottage and very well furnished with Algonquin chairs, table and a propane barbeque for the Chef de Cottage. Portage is not a large lake and the residents prefer very small motors on the boats so that the silence is not interrupted. The fishing is pretty good and there is a row boat, 2 kayaks and a paddleboat at the cottage so don't forget your fishing gear because the bass are awaitn'. In addition, this cottage is strategically located within 15 minutes of Haliburton Village which makes it ideal for students of the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. So what are you waiting for, head for your phone and reserve this delightful cottage. With sleeping for six, dishwasher, washer / dryer, barbeque, great view, super lake, close to town, close to supplies. close to golf courses, how can you go wrong.
