This cottage is not for everyone but if you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet and a great bass pond, it doesn't get much better than this. |

The
living room has comfort written all over it with overstuffed sofas and
chairs, an entertainment
centre with TV / DVD and satellite dish and huge windows overlooking the woods, pond and deck. |

The
kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, blender,
coffee maker and dishwasher. There is a washer / dryer as well for all your laundry needs. Just off the kitchen there is a bright and comfortable dining area with seating for 6 and there are a couple of comfortable stools at the food preparation island where one can eat as well. |

cottage has 3 bedrooms including a superb master bedroom loft with queen
size bed and en suite with Jacuzzi and stone vanity. The second and third bedrooms

In the lower level there is a new rec room with comfortable sofa and chairs as well as another television for your viewing pleasure. The third bedroom is also on this level and we guarantee that you will enjoy these new renovations. |

Outside
|
As
stated previously, this cottage is on a large pond which is over 8 square
acres
in size. Being a private smaller body of water, it is understandably more shallow than a normal lake and the swimming is much better in a regular size lake but if swimming is important to you and your group, there is a public beach on Drag Lake which is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Bass fishing on the other hand is outstanding. As you exit the cottage there is a comfortable furnished deck with table, chairs, umbrella and a propane barbeque for the Chef de Golden Pond. There is a dock at the shore with a canoe, kayak, row boat and paddleboat for your on water pleasure as well as a fire pit for those evening marshmallow roasts. This cottage is within 15 minutes of Haliburton Village where there are supplies, shops, entertainment and excellent restaurants when you grow tired of all the bass you catch and barbeque on the grill. This agency and the owners of this cottage encourage catch and release to ensure good fishing for future generations. |
