The living room is actually in the loft with a sofa, easy chair, a desk if needed and a
stereo entertainment centre with a television, VCR / DVD combination. The view of the river from the ceiling window is yours for the taking. |

The kitchen comes equipped with a food prep table, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster coffee maker and all the pots, pans and utencils you will need for a pleasant time in the kitchen. Just off the kitchen, there is a dining area with seating for 6. |

| There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds as well as a double size sofa bed in the loft for 2 more if needed. In addition there is a 3 piece bathroom with stand up shower for your convenience. |

Outside

There is something about an isolated cottage in the woods which is absolutely magical no matter what season it is. In winter, there are fresh mink, deer, squirrel and bird tracks in the virgin morning snow which is nature's way of saying "welcome to our home". Across the front of the cottage, there is a full width deck and a wonderful view down the river. When the spirit moves you, you are welcome to walk the groomed trails beside the river as it meanders towards Redstone Lake. On the back deck of the cottage, there is a propane barbeque and a winter barbeque smells as good as it sounds. As stated, Sir Sam's Ski Area is only 10 minutes away with 12 runs, 4 lifts and their own snow making equipment so you are assured of great skiing no matter the weather. If you are looking for something a little different, we can help you arrange a dog sled tour at nearby Haliburton Lake. Supplies are available at Eagle Lake Village and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is a leisurely 20 minute drive from the cottage. So needless to say, this cottage has a lot going for it.
