The living room comes complete with a sofa, love seat, another chair, wood burning stove and a television / DVD combination with satellite reception. In addition this is a nice bright room
because of the floor to ceiling windows in this Viceroy designed cottage. |

The well equipped kitchen includes a new fridge and stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender,
toaster, crock pot and there is a washer / dryer elsewhere in the cottage.
This is an eat-in kitchen with a very nice side bar with 3 stools for casual dining and conversation with the chef. In addition there is a more formal dining area between the kitchen and living room with seating for four more. |

The cottage has 3 nicely furnished bedrooms to sleep 8 on 2 queen size beds and 2 double size beds in the third bedroom. And for your convenience, there is a full 4 piece bathroom. |

Outside

| This cottage is situated on Ross Lake which is a smaller lake about 2 kilometers due west of Haliburton Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. This is a motorless lake which results in the peace and quiet you have worked so hard to enjoy during your summer vacation. If you plan to bring your own motor boat, the boat launch on Haliburton Lake is within 10 minutes of the cottage and there is plenty of room to park your boat trailer at the cottage. Ross lake is stocked with bass and splake for your angling enjoyment. The cottage sits back from the lake as you can see and there is a well maintained path to the lakefront from the cottage. As you exit the cottage, there is a large full width, child safe deck with many chairs for your lounging enjoyment, a table with an umbrella, a propane barbecue for the Executive Chef of the family and even an outdoor heater for those cool early season evenings. At the lakefront, there is a furnished shore deck to watch the kids from as they enjoy the albeit gradual rocky entry with soft bottom shoreline. In addition there is a dock where you will find your canoe, row boat and kayak and there is a large fire pit as well for those popular evening marshmallow roasts which the kids enjoy so much. The cottage is within 20 minutes of Eagle Lake Village where there is a good country store for supplies and if you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is another 15 minute drive from Eagle Lake where you will find large food stores, restaurants, service stations, hardwares, pharmacies, live entertainment and a hospital if health care is needed.So jump on the WRD bandwagon and give us a call at 705-457-9434 and talk to one of our Vacation Planners who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
