This cottage has an incredible exterior with both a lower patio, a main level deck and one of the best deck views we have seen. The property is flat from the road to the cottage and then there are a number of well constructed stairs to the shoreline. The shoreline is rocky but there is a beach with a child safe, gradual entry to some of the best water we have seen in cottage country. Once you are a ways off shore, the bottom of the lake is clay and the swimming is second to none. We want to be perfectly clear that entry into the crystal blue water is absolutely child safe and very gradual. You really don't get this kind of situation too often in Central Ontario. The decking at this cottage is outstanding and the views from the main deck are breathtaking. This flat property is perfect for lawn games. This cottage is about 15 minutes from the great little town of Buckhorn where there are quaint shops, restaurants, food stores and service stations. If you are looking for more substantial shopping, Peterborough is an easy 20 minute drive from Buckhorn.
