This is an older cottage that has gone through serious renovation
and ready for the family that doesn't want to break the bank.


The formal living room comes with a sofa, a couple of chairs, an antique
roll down desk that goes with
several other quality antiques throughout the cottage.


The kitchen is outstanding with a fridge, stove convection oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker and dishwasher and there is a washer / dryer in the lower level.

Just off the kitchen there is a dining area with a large harvest table to seat 8 in comfort and there are 3 stools in the kitchen at the island bar.


This cottage has 4 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, a double and a queen size futon in bedroom 4.
In addition there is a three piece bathroom with stand up shower as well as a 2 piece bathroom
to eliminate the line ups.

The lower level rec room includes a large sectional sofa a couple of chairs, an electric fireplace, a dry bar and a large screen
television with a VCR / DVD and
satellite reception. This is a fun room
which we are sure you will enjoy.

Before we exit the cottage, there is a small sun room with a love seat which is perfect for curling up in to read your favorite book. There is a walkout to the deck from the sun room.


Outside

This cottage on South Lake is ideal for mature students attending the Haliburton School of Art considering that this cottage is within 20 minutes of all campuses in the Village of Haliburton.
As you can see below, this cottage sits back from the lake a bit with a large grassed in area from the cottage to the lake which is ideal for any lawn games you wish to play. As you exit the cottage there is a well furnished child safe deck with a table, umbrella, 6 chairs and a propane barbeque for the South Lake Food Specialist of the family. As you make your way down to the lake you will find a horseshoe pit, badminton net and a picnic table. At the shore there is a dandy child safe beach with gradual entry and sandy bottom. There is also a good size dock with a canoe for your on water enjoyment. This cottage is conveniently located only 5 minutes from Minden where there are major food stores, quaint shops, restaurants, service stations, pharmacy, butcher, theatre, banking, LCBO and beer store, and health care if needed at the Minden Hospital.
