The first time I visited this cottage it was as if I had just come home, so warm, so inviting. The living room features a stone fireplace, sofa, 3 chairs and a beautiful half log ceiling as well as a television with VCR and DVD and satellite reception. |

The functional country kitchen includes a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker as well as all the dishes, pots and pans you will need for a delightful vacation. In addition there is a spacious dining area with large harvest table and seating for 6 - 8 in comfort. |

There are three nicely furnished bedrooms in the cottage, all with double beds as well as a knotty pine bathroom with stand up shower. |

Outside
|
Outside is outstanding with a flat area to the rear of the cottage for those popular lawn games. There is an attractive wrap around deck with table, chairs and a propane barbeque for Executive Chef Weener Burger. Just off the deck there is a stone path to the dock and beach which is surely where you will find the young ones as they play on the gradual entry child safe beach with sandy / soft bottom and rocky shoreline. The dock is where you will also find your canoe and row boat for your on water enjoyment and the dock is big enough for lounge chairs and a picnic table so reserve your seat for those spectacular northern sunsets. In addition there is a fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts. Soyers Lake is a large lake and is part of the famous 5 lake chain of Haliburton County. There is a marina nearby for all your boating needs and don't forget your fishing gear as the lake trout, walleye and whitefish are awaiting your arrival. If you are planning on attending one of the many courses offered by the Haliburton School of Art, this cottage is within a 15 minute drive of all campuses. Both the Villages of Haliburton and Minden are within a 15 minute drive where you will find many quaint country shops, restaurants, large food stores, beer stores, LCBO, pharmacies, live entertainment, museums, hospitals and veterinarians.
