This cottage is situated on a quiet bay on beautiful Stormy Lake in the Haliburton Highlands.
As you exit the cottage from the upper level, there is a full width, child safe deck furnished with a table , chairs, umbrella, several additional lounge chairs and a propane barbeque for the chef of the family. In addition to this deck, there is a patio under the deck just outside the exit from the lower level rec room. This patio is also furnished with lounge chairs. As you make your way to the lake you will pass an outdoor fire pit which is most popular with the youngsters for those evening marshmallow roasts. There is also provision for a game of badminton as well as a horseshoe pit when the spirit moves you. There is a small dock with a ladder for ease of exiting the water and the cottage also supplies a row boat, canoe, 2 kayaks and paddleboat for your on water pleasure. Even in the early part of the summer rental season, the shoreline isn't the best for swimming. This cottage is about 10 minutes from Gooderham and within 15 minutes of the Village of Haliburton where there are quaint shops, large food stores, restaurants, pharmacies, service stations, live entertainment and health care at the local hospital if needed. If golf is your game, there are several fine golf courses in the county to test your skill as well as a couple of golf driving ranges. During the summer there is always special events taking place in Gooderham and the Village of Haliburton such as flea markets, festivals, regattas and carnivals. So give WRD a call @
