TV's.
This cottage comes
with an extensive children's video library
and movies for your viewing pleasure.
The rec room also has a sofa
which  pulls out
to a double bed

and stone fireplace which is there for decoration due to the fact that it produces a lot of heat which you will not be needing during the summer.

Outside

As good as this cottage is on the inside, the outside is also very attractive with an upper level deck with a serious barbeque and table and chairs and a lower deck with a screened seating area if the mosquitoes or black flies are on the wing during the early spring and summer season. At the lake front there is a dock with a row boat for your on water pleasure and a nice gradual entry and sandy bottom for the kids. Surrounding the cottage there is nice flat property for those popular lawn games and there is a fire pit for marshmallow roasts in the evening when the sun sets and you get one of those glorious northern sunsets across the water from your cottage. Wilbemere is a smaller lake about a kilometer long and situated about 2 kilometers outside the Village of Wilberforce where you will find a larger food store, restaurant, banking, service station and a few shops. Wilberforce has been named the Geocaching Capital of Canada – according to the web sitewww.geocaching.com there are over 810,070 geocaching sites around the world and 194 of those are located in the Wilberforce postal code district. If you don’t know what geocaching is then you are really missing out on the latest trend. It is essentially a modern day treasure hunt. People hide a cache and register it on the geocaching web site. Other people use their GPS units and go on a hunt for it, registering their find on the web site once they have been successful. You can geocache on foot, by car, by bike, by snowmobile….almost any mode of transportation will do.  It’s important when you find a cache to protect the location and not make any give-away comments on the web site– so mums the word, eh. If you see people searching for something at the end of the driveway, rest assured it's probably Geocachers in actionIf you are looking for more substantial shopping, the Village of Haliburton is about a 1/2 hour drive away. We think this cottage is going to rent very well so do not procrastinate, give us a call at 705-457-9434 and talk to one of our Vacation Planners who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We'll see you in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands this coming summer, "Nature's Natural Work Of Art".
